Alternative Wedding Coordinator & Officiant/Minister (Licensed)

Hi! This page is basically what the title says.  I am an ordained Minister and Alternative Wedding Coordinator / Consultant .  I do non-denominational ceremonies, Hand Fastings, Commitment Ceremonies and just about anything else you can think of. I have several pre-written ceremonies but  I also invite you to be a part of the process by coming up with your own ideals of what you'd want your special day to be like. To sum up my role is to basically be your "ZILLA" so you can focus and enjoy being a Bride. And you're more than welcome to contact me by email or phone.  I usually recommend at least 6 months preparation time before the big day. And don't worry, I've done 100s of these so nothing you say or want is going to be a problem! If you'd like to contact me for info, just scroll to bottom of this page and leave me a note and i will get back to you, usually, within 48 hours, sometimes sooner. Thank you in advance for your interest and consideration.

Blessed Be )O(

Find everything you need for your special day!!

Sample Handfasting Ceremony

Procession

“I think I could turn and live with the animals, they are so placid and self contained;
I stand and look at them long and long.
They do not sweat and whine about their condition;
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins;
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God;
Not one is dissatisfied-not one is demented with the mania of owning things;
Not one kneels to another, nor his kind that lived thousands of years ago;
Not one is responsible or industrious over the whole earth.”

Invocation

Everyone, Welcome and thank you so much for celebrating with us this evening.
According multiple traditions, the veil between this world and the next is thinnest on Halloween night; allowing the souls of Collier, and Meghan to be joined in marriage not only with those who have travelled near and far to be with us today, but respectfully, those who have passed.

Declaration Of Intent

Marriage is a commitment to life, the best that two people can find and bring out in each other. It offers opportunities for sharing and growth that no other relationship can equal. The promises made today and the ties that are bound here, greatly strengthen your union; they will cross the years and lives of each soul's growth. Do you still seek to enter this ceremony? If so, please say "I Do"

::BOTH::

In times past it was believed that the human soul shared characteristics with all things divine. It is this belief which assigned virtues to the cardinal directions; East, South, West and North. It is in this tradition that a blessing is offered in support of this ceremony.

Blessed be this union with the gifts of the East. Communication of the heart, mind, and body Fresh beginnings with the rising of each Sun. The knowledge of the growth found in the sharing of silences.

Blessed be this union with the gifts of the South. Warmth of hearth and home The heat of the heart's passion The light created by both To lighten the darkest of times.

Blessed be this union with the gifts of the West. The deep commitments of the lake The swift excitement of the river The refreshing cleansing of the rain The all encompassing passion of the sea.

Blessed be this union with the gifts of the North Firm foundation on which to build Fertility of the fields to enrich your lives A stable home to which you may always return.

Each of these blessings from the four cardinal directions emphasizes those things which will help you build a happy and successful union. Yet they are only tools. Tools which you must use together in order to create what you seek in this union. I bid you look into each others eyes.
